Next Jam is July 26th at 6:30 PM

Thanks to everyone who could join us at our last jam. The new facility was perfect and it was wonderful to hear all those beautiful voices accompanying the ukuleles. We also want to thank everyone who were able to help us with the setup and tear down. What a great community!

Our next jam will take place on Sunday, July 26th at Brunton Hall. The hall is located at the Beckwith Municipal building just off the 9th concession line at 2022 Beckwith Park Lane. There is lots of parking and lots of room in the hall. The hall does not provide any food or drink so please bring a glass of your favourite (non-alcoholic) beverage.

The doors will open at 6:00 PM and we will start the jam at 6:30 PM.

We will be projecting the chords and lyrics during the jam.

All are welcome and we hope to see you there!

The Jam is happening today!

A reminder that the jam is tonight, June 28th at a beautiful new facility! We will be opening the doors and starting our setup around 6:00 PM. We will start the jam at 6:30 PM. It should be a beautiful day to be at the jam surronded by nature (and yet still be in air conditioned comfort! )

A few notes:

  • There is lots of parking and lots of space. The hall can hold over 150 people. So bring your Uke and bring a friend! It should be fun for all who attend regardless of singing or uking ability.
  • There is a fee of $40 for the hall rental for the evening so please help us cover this cost by dropping a toonie into our little collection can! There is no obligation and we are trying this out so please help us out if you can.
  • We will continue to project the chords and lyrics for the set so all you need is your uke.
  • There is no canteen or food service on site. There are washrooms and water available from the kitchen faucet . Please bring a water bottle or non-alcoholic drink of choice (sorry, the hall is not licensed.)

June 28th,2026 LUG Jam

Our next jam is taking place on June 28th at 6:30 PM.

We will go straight through without a break. We expect that the jam will end around 7:30 PM.

Venue:

Please note:

There is a charge of $40/occasion to book. We will be asking people to donate what they can to help us cover this cost. If we each give $2 that should work out.

There is no bar or food service at the location. You can bring water into the hall. For those who wish to grab something either before or after the jam I would suggest the Ashton Pub which is just a few kilometres down the road. Carleton Place is also nearby where there are a number of great places to eat (including Zak’s).

The new location can hold 150 people so we will have lots of space to setup and spread out. No worries about not being able to find a seat or a good place to see the projected lyrics.

New Venue and Time For LUG Jam

We will be holding our next two jams at a new location and at a new time.

The next two jams will take place at Brunton Communiy Hall in Beckwith. The address is 2022 Beckwith Park Lane. The location is just south of Carleton Place with plenty of parking.

We have booked the community hall for the next two LUG Jams:

June 28th, 2026. We will begin setting up at 6:00 PM and begin the jam at 6:30 PM

July 26th, 2026. The jam will commence at 6:30 PM.
