Jam Postponed until November 19th

The weather does not look good this Sunday for travelling so we are postponing the jam for 1 week. The jam is now scheduled for Sunday, November 16th at 4:30 PM. The jam will still take place at Zak’s on McNeeley Avenue in Carleton Place. Hope you can make it!

Mailing List Changes

To simplify things, we will be changing the LUG mailing list slightly. Previously, we would send emails through our mail client. This often resulted in the email being blacklisted by our mail system. To remedy this situation, we will be adding people as subscribers to the LUG website. This uses WordPress and will send automatic updates to subscribers when we publish new content to the website. This should mean that email subscribers get the latest information more quickly than they did in the past. This also allows people to manage mailings themselves by allowing them to subscribe (or unsubscribe) directly.

Of course, we are still available at LanarkUkuleleGroup@hotmail.com .

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our jam on November 9th. The set list has been published to our web site at https://lanarkukulelegroup.com and is ready for you to take a look and start practicing 🙂
