Our next jam is scheduled …. and it’s in August! We have a great set of summer tunes to squeeze the most out of the season. Hope to see you there!
UPDATE We have changed the song “Miss the Mississippi and You”. They key has been changed to the key of A to make it a little easier to sing and perform. The updated chords has been updated to this site.
When: Sunday, August 28th, 2022 4:30 PM
Strumming starts at 4:30 PM so please come a little early to claim your spot, grab a refreshment and tune your instrument. We will be having a short break midway through and finish up around 6:00 PM.
Where: Generations Market and Restaurant, 717 Lake Park Road, Carleton Place
We will be jamming by the side of Lake Mississippi under a big top tent. Lots of room and plenty of chairs and tables so you can socially distance during the jam. Parking is plentiful and finding a spot will not be an issue.
Drinks and foods are available during the jam. For anyone staying for dinner afterwards we strongly recommend that you make reservations for 6:00 PM at 613-253-5253. Please support Generations Market and Restaurant.
SET LIST
Most people find they get the most out of the jam if they review the set and practise the music. We project the lyrics and chords during the jam but make the set available in different formats to provide an opportunity for people to practise in advance of the jam. The easiest to access format is PDF and this format should work with virtually any computer system. You can download it here:
For people running song viewer software on their device we offer two options. If you have an iOS device(like an iPad) and are running the OnSong app you can get the set as an archive . We also link a copy of each song in ChordPro format to the title in the setlist so you can access and download songs that way as well.
