LUG Jam- Sunday, July 14, 2013

Join us July 14th for the next LUG Jam.

Where – Chuckles Jack Restaurant, located in the Comfort Inn, Smiths Falls (down at the Canal behind the Giant Tiger Mall).

When – Sunday, July 14th, 5:30 p.m. for dinner (if you want) and 6:30 for the music.

For this jam, we will be using the Albany Ukulele Song book, for the beginners. If you don’t already have the printout of this songbook, you can print it up from the following website:

Bring along the DAILY UKULELE BOOK for other songs. If you don’t have a Daily Ukulele Book, despair not, as you can always buddy up.

June Ukulele meetings

We have two meetings in June. On Saturday, June 8th, we have a beginner group at our home starting at 2 p.m.. If you don’t know where we live please just email us at crabak@gmail.com. It is open to everyone but we don’t want to put our address on the web.

There is also a regular jam on Sunday, June 23rd at Chuckles Jacks in Smiths Falls. We will be there at 5:30 p.m. for dinner and the music will start at 6:30 p.m.. Bring your daily Ukulele Books if you have them.

May 2013 JAM

The LUGS opens its new season trying a new day of the week and a new time but with the same location!

Meet us on SATURDAY MAY 25th at 1 p.m. for lunch and 2 p.m. for JAMing.  Bring your ukuleles and your Daily Ukulele books.  Most people have the books, so if you don’t… you can always share.

Snowbird LUGs

It’s that time of year when ukulele players start looking for places to play where their fingers don’t get cold. With this in mind, the Lanark Ukulele Group (LUGs) will be moving South to Florida and become the SLUGs (South Lanark Ukulele Group) for the winter.

See you in Fort Myers for now or back in Lanark in May!!!!

Some LUG members are wanting to take a look at the Song List for October’s Jam.

  • The Daily Ukulele Book – see the previous posting in September for a list of the songs that we will be looking at.  This will be our main song source.
  • Bring along your September songlist in your binder.  Never know…someone may want to play a favorite from that list as well.
